Authorities say missing Cedar Falls teen found, claims she was never missing

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers said on Monday a teenager reported missing on Friday, July 13, has been found.

The group thanked those who assisted in the search for Vanessa Vejzovic, but did not provide any other details.

But, as the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier notes, Vejzovic posted a public video to her own Facebook page on July 13 stating she was not missing.

Vejzovic does not say in the video where she was located or if she had told authorities or family of her whereabouts.

Authorities are asking for help finding a missing 16-year-old who was last seen in Cedar Falls.

Vanessa Vejzovic has been missing since July 7.

She was last seen wearing a purple shirt and black pants.

Vanessa is a 5 ft. 5 in., 120 pound female with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The family says they are offering a private reward of $1,000 for any information leading to her location.
