Person found dead in SW Cedar Rapids home

Police are investigating the death of a person inside a home on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids police were called to a home in the 1200 block of 20th Avenue SW Monday morning.

Officers say the person was doing work on the home but was not a resident.

Police say the death does not appear suspicious at this time.
