People continue to search for a missing 20-year-old who went missing in Poweshiek County five days ago.

Mollie Tibbetts disappeared on July 18 while she was dog sitting in Brooklyn.

Tibbetts was known to be an avid jogger and is set to start her sophomore year at the University of Iowa this fall.

Family members say she is 5 ft. 2 in. tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

Search crews began searching for Tibbetts on Thursday and on Friday the search efforts were focused on the fields between her house and where she was staying when she disappeared.

Search crews also tried searching with helicopters in the fields, but the weather wasn't in their favor on Friday.

Throughout the weekend search crews looked through the town and on the outskirts of town for Tibbetts.

People in the Brooklyn community are also ramping up efforts by creating posters and business cards.

The business Live Now Designs in Brooklyn, who made the posters and cards, say they also plan on creating t-shirts, yard signs, and billboards with Tibbett's picture and information to contact authorities.

If you have any information or see Mollie Tibbetts contact the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office at 641-623-5679.
