The Iowa State Patrol says one is dead after a semi and pickup truck collided in Tama County, around 10:30 Friday night.
The Federal Express semi, driven by Adam Nurre, 34, of Dyersville, was westbound on Highway 30, just west of RR Ave in a rural part of the county.
Authorities said in a crash report for "some unknown reason" Nurre's semi crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic. It's said to have struck an F-150 driven by Tamie Cockrell, 38, of Van Horne.
Authorities said Cockrell was killed in the collision.
The Iowa State Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
