CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Plan on another classic November day, which means more chilly conditions with plenty of clouds. Highs will stay in the upper 30s as more clouds roll in from the northwest over the next few hours. While breaks may occur this afternoon, we aren't banking on too many, and the general cloudy look is the most likely result.
Our next system arrives Thursday night into Friday and the temperatures will remain cold enough for the precipitation to fall as snow. While we aren't expecting much, a general trace-1" may occur around eastern Iowa by the time it's all over with. An isolated spot or two may be able to exceed one inch, though it's tough to tell at this distance where that may occur. Roads for the Friday morning drive could be slick in spots!
