Not as cold tonight, 30s on Veterans Day

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - While our weather remains chilly tonight, it won't be as cold as last night. Plan on temperatures to stay steady overnight and only fall to the mid-20s.

For Veterans Day, plan on temperatures to warm back to the 30s under partly to mostly cloudy sky.

The extended forecast remains dominated by dry conditions, though the temperatures will be all over the place. Another chunk of Arctic air will come across Iowa on Monday into Tuesday, making those two days the coldest of the next 10 or more.

Moderating temperatures are likely by Wednesday and especially Thursday as highs go back to the 40s. Some areas may be very close to 50 on Thursday!
