A new poll sows longtime Senator Chuck Grassley is in a statistical tie with his Democratic competition, Patty Judge.
The CBS News, YouGov poll shows the gap is only in the single digits. It has incumbent Grassley with 45%, compared to Judge's 38%. But with the margin of error of 4%, that's a statistical tie.
The poll also found 15% of potential voters polled were not sure whom they were voting for yet.
The poll also asked people whether they felt Grassley is the same kind of Republican as presidential nominee Donald Trump. Only 24% found the two the same. The poll did not compare Judge to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
The poll took a sample of 987 likely voters between August 17 - 19.
