Dubuque Schools opening late Monday for threat investigation

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - The Dubuque Community School District is running on a two-hour delay schedule on Monday, Jan. 13, and canceling its morning preschool, due to an ongoing social media threat investigation at Jefferson Middle School.

In a Facebook post Sunday night, the Dubuque Community School District said multiple students reported receiving a threat.

No other schools were referenced, the district said in its post.

The district said it's working with Dubuque Police to investigate.
