It'll be a quiet day across the area as cirrus clouds stream in from the northwest as the day goes on. The wind will be much lighter and highs will be back into the lower 20s area-wide.

Tonight, temperatures will rise in response to our next system which looks to bring an area of fog along with a slight chance of a wintry mix. As dew points rise and that air flows over the snow pack, areas of fog could be an issue tomorrow morning. This may cause some slick spots on area roads should the fog freeze on contact or if roads become frosty.

Otherwise, the main system itself looks to move across our area during the midday hours with only scattered precipitation. Overall, the impact looks low. However, as soon as that system exits, the wind will be increasing with gusts around 35mph by sunset Thursday along with falling temperatures.

Look for lows to drop to around zero by Friday morning with wind chills colder than -10 on the way to school and work.
