IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The City of Iowa City is conducting a survey with the National Research Center to gather residents' opinions on community issues.

Households randomly chosen will be sent postcards on September 19.

Then, the 2,200 households will be sent the actual survey on September 26 and October 3.

The mailed surveys will also include how to complete the survey online and for people who want to mail in their answers, postage paid envelopes will be included.

The instructions will be sent in English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and French. A Spanish version will also be available online. Residents who speak other languages will need to come to City Hall, 410 E. Washington St., and fill out the survey with the help of City staff and Language Line services.

Households who are sent the survey are asked to complete it as soon as possible.
