Matthew 25 partnered with Willis Dady Homeless Services and Horizons to help feed people on “Fat Tuesday.” Organizers provided people from the Willis Dady Overflow Shelter with a free breakfast at Matthew 25’s Groundswell Café.

People got to come in, and order whatever they wanted. Organizers with Matthew 25 say “Fat Tuesday” is about giving back, so they wanted to make sure people from the overflow shelter could have a hot meal, and get out of the cold for a bit.

Groundswell Café is a pay-it-forward eatery. Customers can round up their bill, or make a donation to help cover the cost of a meal for a person who can’t afford it.
