CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A 21-year-old man from Cedar Rapids has been arrested after a robbery Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities were called to the Oakland Road Hy-Vee at 3:02 p.m. for a report of a robbery.

A suspect, identified as Anthony Bartlett, allegedly went into an 18-year-old female victim's car, pointed a handgun at her, and took cash.

Authorities were told he was last seen running northbound on Center Street NE.

Officers found Bartlett walking on the north side of the Hy-Vee and when they approached him, he ran along the front of the store.

Bartlett was then directed to the ground by an officer, as it appeared he was reaching for a handgun.

Authorities found a handgun on Bartlett and it was determined the gun was stolen from an unlocked car on May 11, 2017.

While searching the suspect, they also found marijuana in Bartlett's possession.

Bartlett was arrested for 2nd Degree Robbery, Carrying Weapons, Trafficking in Stolen Weapons, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Interference with Official Acts.

Authorities say they don't believe the robbery was random and the investigation is ongoing.
