The Lord of Life Lutheran Church is hoping to put together 40 "flood buckets." Each bucket will have cleaning supplies, garbage bags, detergent and more.

Pastor Paul Amlin says the supplies will go to families feeling the effects of flooding.

People can buy items and donate them to the church. A list can be found on the church's website. Amlin said people can also donate money.

"We've also invited people to sponsor a bucket. So for $60 a bucket, you can sponsor a bucket and we'll go out and buy the supplies and pack the bucket and make sure it gets where it needs to go," Amlin said.

The church will collect donations until the end of next week. Amlin said they have about a half a dozen buckets put together.
