Linn Co. Sheriff's Office investigating vehicle fire on Highway 100

The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vehicle fire in the eastbound lanes of Highway 100 near the Cedar River overpass near Xavier High School.

Deputies said it happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday but did not have a cause for the fire. They also did not information on any injuries.

Witnesses said the vehicle appeared to be a minivan.
