KCRG-TV9 adds new channels starting Friday

KCRG-TV9 is adding two new channels for viewers starting Friday.

These new channels will be available over the air and will also be provided by cable operators in the viewing area.

KCRG 9.4 will air the Heroes and Icons network, which includes shows such as The Adventures of Superman, House, and Macgyver as well as the Star Trek series.

In addition, KCRG 9.5 will air the StartTV network which features several shows including The Good Wife and Medium.

Over the air viewers will need to perform a channel re-scan in order to receive 9.4 and 9.5.

• KCRG 9.4 (Heroes & Icons) – channel 705 / 69-2

• KCRG 9.5 (StartTV) – channel 706 / 69-3

KCRG 9.2 will be upgraded to broadcast in HD.
