CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Three-month-old twins. Malnourished. Fractured bones to the legs and ribs.
That's what led a judge to sentence a Cedar Falls man to 7 years in prison on Monday.
29-year-old Jason Olomon pleaded guilty to child endangerment causing bodily injury and child endangerment.
Court documents show hospital officials called police because Olomon's twin girls were under weight. One baby cried while being move. That led staff to find old and new fractures to the leg, ankle and ribs of the girls. After being admitted to the hospital, the babies quickly gained weight.
The girls' mother, Lucy Schnieders, pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges and was sentenced to prison in 2014.
