CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Sentencing for the man convicted of murdering a Cedar Rapids teenager roughly 40 years ago is now pushed back until June 19.

A judge was supposed to sentence Jerry Burns next month, but the coronavirus is delaying most criminal court proceedings.

He's convicted of murdering 18-year-old Michelle Martinko in the Westdale Mall parking lot in December 1979.
