Compared to the kind of weather we’ve had here recently, today and tomorrow will be wonderful. Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday as we top out in the 70s. Mugginess will be held in check as well with dew points in the 50s and low 60s. There is only a slight chance we could see a shower pop-up today. Quiet and comfortable weather continues into Saturday night as temperatures drop into the upper 50s and low 60s.

On Sunday, there is a chance for a few showers or storms, and primarily north of Highway 30, but the day looks mainly dry for the rest of eastern Iowa. However, you will likely start to notice the humidity creeping back up on Sunday, as well as an increase in temperatures. That trend continues into the following workweek, eventually leading to chances for storms arriving on Monday and Tuesday. This leads us into a stormy, hot, and humid pattern for the remainder of next week.
