IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - The University of Iowa's ranking is dropping and that's a good thing.

Princeton Review now ranks the Iowa City campus as the 6th best party school in the nation. The UI ranked second last year and in 2014 and was number 1 in 2013.

The University has fought the image of a party school and drinking culture even before that party school ranking gained it notoriety. In 2009, the University developed a plan to address binge drinking on campus.

The University of Wisconsin topped the list this year, dethroning Big Ten rival, the University of Illinois, which fell to third on the list. West Virginia ranked second. Lehigh University and Bucknell University rounded out the top 5.
