Iowa poll: 78 percent of adults want medical marijuana program expansion

DES MOINES (KCRG) - A new Iowa poll shows more than three-quarters of Iowans want to make it easier for patients to use marijuana as medicine.

The poll finds that 78 percent of Iowa adults want the state to expand its medical Marijuana program. Just 18 percent of Iowans opposed the idea of expansion.

Expanding Iowa's program would include adding medical conditions that medical Marijuana could be used for, and increasing the number of shop that are able to sell it.

The poll also showed Iowans support for legalizing recreational Marijuana.
