Iowa City Animal Services asking help finding dog owner and dog

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa City Animal Services is asking for help finding a dog and its owner after a resident says they were bitten by a dog on Friday.

The resident said around 11:30 p.m. they saw dogs fighting on Kountry Lane.

When the resident tried to break up the fight, they said they said a dog that looked to be a large brown Bulldog mix bit him on the ankle.

The dog was believed to be with a woman at the time of the incident.

Iowa City Animal Services is seeking information regarding rabies vaccination records for the dog.
