Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds spent Thursday morning talking about her plans to improve Iowa's business climate.

Reynolds spoke at the Iowa Association of Business and Industry's annual conference, going on all week in Dubuque.

Reynolds told the audience she understands the need to change Iowa's tax code in order to keep young workers in the state.

"A more competitive tax code makes it easier to grow and expand and what that does is create careers for Iowans all across the state," she said.

More than 500 business leaders spent the week in Dubuque for this conference.
