Giant Jeff Goldblum statue pops up in London
A giant statue of Jeff Goldblum has popped up in London to mark the 25th anniversary of the original "Jurassic Park" movie.
"Now TV" installed the 25-foot, 330-pound statue of Goldblum in character as Dr. Ian Malcolm.
It shows him in a scene from the 1993 movie, open-shirted and reclining.
It took six months to build the statue next to the tower bridge.
The statue also appears as the latest installment in the rebooted franchise, "Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom," is in theaters.
The films and Goldblum don't have any specific connections to London, but that doesn't seem to bother the fans who are already flocking to the statue.
The #JurassicJeff hashtag on Instagram and Twitter is filling up.
The statue will be on display through July 26th.
