GM introducing E-bike

General Motors is getting into the bike business

The "Ariv" is an e-bike with an electric motor that G-M says can be charged in about 3 hours.

The automaker says one charge can provide 40 miles of motorized riding.

The Ariv also has a "walk mode" where the motor can help roll the bike.

GM says the Ariv will first be available in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, and cost about $3,000.

It's unclear if the bikes will be offered for sale in U.S.
