Flexsteel Industries in Dubuque to close for two weeks starting Friday

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - Flexsteel Industries in Dubuque says it will close its plant temporarily because of the coronavirus outbreak.

According to KDTH Radio, the furniture maker will also have a temporary layoff at its headquarters. It is not clear when or how many employees will affect.

The company says it is shutting down to protect the health and safety of its employees.

The plant will close for two weeks starting Friday.
