CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - We're on day three of this low pressure system impacting our weather and the system itself will finally push across the area today.
Our highs for the day will occur by mid-morning, with temperatures settling back to the upper 30s to lower 40s this afternoon as our final round of light rain sets in. This rain will not be heavy and should only amount to another tenth of an inch or so.
The wind will be an issue today and tomorrow with gusts to 40mph possible each day.
Tomorrow, plan on a dry day with clouds in the morning and clearing in the afternoon.
A welcome break in the weather is still on track for this weekend and all of next week with highs in the 40s and 50s as multiple areas of high pressure take over.
