JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - Authorities responded to a crash on Highway 1 Wednesday morning involving a bus.
A rear-end crash between two cars behind an Iowa City Community School District bus caused one of the vehicles to be pushed into the back end of the bus.
The school district says the crash was a low impact collision and only 11 students were on the bus plus the driver.
No one on the bus was hurt and a second bus was brought to the scene to take students to South East Junior High.
The district said they also contacted the parents of the students on board.
Authorities have not said if the people in the two vehicles behind the bus were hurt in the crash.
