Construction on the skate park in Flora Park started this summer.

The city hoped to have it finished before the end of the year, but bad weather in the Fall pushed back the deadline. Contractors had to stop working for the year.

The city should have it open in the Spring.

The city is paying $600,000 for this park and a local non-profit raised more than $250,000 to help build it.
