Iowa City will soon open pool, splash pads

City Park pool and the splash pads at the Wetherby, Fairmeadows, and Tower Court Parks locations will be open on Saturday, June 3.

The splash pads will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and are free to use.

The City Park pool will have adult lap swim Monday through Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open swim is from 1 to 5 p.m. and Twilight swim is offered Monday through Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Admission is four dollars for individuals over two years old; admission is free for children younger than two. Twilight hours are offered for two dollars admission per person.

30-day and annual passes are available for families and individuals that grant access to all Iowa City pools. For pricing information, please contact The City of Iowa City Parks and Recreation.
