Cedar Rapids pools hold special events

Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation will celebrate Father’s Day and the longest day of summer with special swims. Dads, accompanied by their children, swim for only $1 at all the City’s outdoor pools on Sunday, June 18. Children pay regular admission. The Father’s Day swim is 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Bever Pool, Ellis Pool and Jones Pool. Regular admission is $5.00 or a season pass for these pools. It will be 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Cherry Hill Aquatic Center and 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Noelridge Aquatic Center. Regular admission is $5.50 or a season pass for the aquatic centers.
The “Longest Day of Summer” swim will be at Cherry Hill Aquatic Center on Tuesday, June 20 from 6:30-10:00 p.m. Along with a little extra swimming time, patrons will enjoy games, relays and more. Regular admission is $5.00 or a season pass.
