CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Students in the Cedar Rapids Community school district will no longer get out early on Fridays for the rest of this year.
The school board approved the snow day makeup plan at its meeting Monday night. The district decided to extend the school year through June 5.
Waterloo schools also approved snow make-up days. It's having class on March 8, April 5 and April 22.
Another make-up day will be forgiven because of built-in extra hours in the district calendar. The last day of school will be June 7.
