Bulk solar panel purchase program announced for Linn County

Getting solar power is now a little cheaper in Linn County. A new program launched this month.

Linn County home and business owners can sign up to buy solar panels together in bulk to get discounts.

Midwest Renewable Energy Association runs the program at no cost to taxpayers. It has similar programs set-up in Wisconsin and Illinois.
