CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A mostly sunny sky has returned for the day, although northern Iowa will see a few more passing clouds for a time. In any case, today is noticeably colder than yesterday as highs stay locked in the 20s. The northwest wind may be a bit brisk at times, too.
Lows tonight fall into the lower single digits where there's snow on the ground, but stay a little closer to 10 where the ground is bare. Wind chills approach zero early on Friday with afternoon highs returning to the middle 20s under a mostly sunny sky. The weekend looks fine with a partly cloudy sky and highs close to 30. 30s continue next week with our next chance of precipitation coming on Wednesday in the form of scattered showers.
