CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The sunshine is deceptive today as it's a pretty cold day. Highs will be in the lower 20s, but it'll feel colder thanks to a brisk northwest wind of 15 to 25 mph. While that's not as strong as it was yesterday, it'll still hold wind chills in the 5 to 10 degree range.
The wind finally backs down tonight as lows return to the teens. Tomorrow will be a seasonable mid-January day in the upper 20s with partial sunshine. Clouds fill our sky Friday before snow comes in Friday night into Saturday. The highest totals still look to be to our south, but we may get enough to accumulate in eastern Iowa that some of us may have to actually dust off our shovels to clear the sidewalk and driveway.
