A group of up to 50 motorcyclists gathered Sunday night to ride for one of their own who died in a crash last weekend.

Friends tell TV9 Jared Donovan crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Burlington and Gilbert Streets around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, July 2.

On Sunday, the group of motorcyclists along with some police officers rode over to the home of Donovan's parents. They presented flowers and a helmet that all of the riders had signed. His mother Kelly Donovan said she was overwhelmed by the support.

The riders said they did this to show how much Jared meant to them.
