A few isolated showers and storms are possible this evening, as the same frontal boundary remains parked over eastern Iowa. Overnight, chances for rain diminish, but there is some potential for fog to develop. This will be most likely and most dense in low lying areas and valleys. With the front still near us on Sunday, an isolated shower or storm will not be ruled out, but the chances are rather small. A more potent cold front will be pushing in from the west late on Sunday, and this system may bring another small chance for a shower or storm Sunday night. However, the more noticeable thing this front will bring to the region will be drier and cooler air as we head into the first half of the workweek. From there, quiet weather remains until Wednesday night and Thursday when storm chances return.
