CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Areas of clouds are rapidly leaving eastern Iowa and taking the light scattered snow with it. Last night's dusting may create a few slick spots on roads, but it'll be nothing like what occurred yesterday. Highs will be warmer this afternoon into the 30s in most areas.
Tomorrow, a cold front will move across Iowa, kicking up the wind for a brief time and dropping our temperatures. By Friday morning, wind chills will be around zero in most areas!
Look for a quiet weekend as a large ridge of high pressure stalls over the Midwest through early next week. Highs will moderate back to the 30s again for all of next week as well.
