2 arrested in early morning Cedar Falls chase

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Around 1:45 a.m. on February 13 a Black Hawk County Deputy Sheriff tried to make a traffic stop near the Hudson Road and Erik Road intersection.

The driver of the truck refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit for about 20 minutes. At times the chase was 100 miles per hour.

The pursuit ended in a field in rural Grundy County. Authorities found the truck had been stolen on February 8 from an address outside of Cedar Falls.

Jesse Hall, 20, of Cedar Falls, was driving the truck and was charged with Eluding, Possession of Stolen Property, Carrying Weapons, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving with a Revoked License, and two counts of Driving with a Suspended License. Hall was also issued multiple traffic citations.

Chloe Adams, 19, of Waterloo, was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested for Interference with Official Acts.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office was assisted in this incident by the Hudson Police Department and the Grundy County Sheriff's Office.
