KCRG-TV9 is proud to continue the tradition of supporting and celebrating charitable organizations and events through our Show You Care program. KCRG-TV9 is committed to being a strong partner as we annually support nearly 100 community events throughout Eastern Iowa.
All of the support offered through the Show You Care program happens because of the time, dedication, and generosity of our sponsors. Without them, the program would not be possible. We recognize with sincere gratitude the support of Mercy Medical Center, Dave Wright Subaru, Eells & Tronvold Law Offices and the GreenState Credit Union.
Show You Care Support Request
If you have a local event and would like the support of KCRG-TV9′s Show You Care program, please submit a Support Request below. Each month the Show You Care “Careforce” meets to determine which events to sponsor. The Careforce is comprised of our Show You Care Sponsors and representatives from KCRG-TV9.
The Careforce meets the first Tuesday of every month to consider all requests, so we ask all submissions be completed by the last Tuesday of each month prior for consideration. Requests must also be submitted 90 days prior to the event. Those submitted within 90 days of the event will be reviewed and considered based on availability due to a large volume of requests.
Nominations are accepted November 1 - November 30, 2022

The 2022 Coats for Kids Campaign is coming to an end! All coat donation boxes are being collected, but if you would still like to donate coats, please bring them to our KCRG-TV9 station or consider donating them to a local organization in your community.
Last year we received 300 gently used coats and raised $30,000, which helped us purchase 1,500 brand new coats. We have officially raised more than last year and with your help we could raise even more!
We are partnering with Operation Warm this year, a national nonprofit organization where we can purchase new, quality made coats in bulk. You can still support us this year by clicking the link below to donate directly to Coats for Kids! All donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt from Operation Warm. We are accepting donations until Thanksgiving
Below are the organizations we are working with this year and will all soon be receiving coats. If you are in need of a coat, please consider reaching out to the below organizations.
