Digital Manager
Eau Claire, WI
Jimmie Kaska

A native of Cadott, Wis., Jimmie joined the Gray TV digital team in 2021. Prior to his time at Gray TV, Jimmie served as a digital manager for several iHeartRadio stations, also working as an executive producer, host, anchor, and engineer. In addition to various other broadcasting roles in radio and TV, Jimmie has been a sports broadcaster since 2003, including calling games for the Wisconsin Badgers, the WIAC, and hundreds of college and high school events across the Midwest. In 2020, Jimmie won Wisconsin's broadcasting award for best sports play-by-play for large markets.

When he was 7 years old, Jimmie took a tour of WEAU 13 News in Eau Claire and generously offered assistance to a bewildered meteorologist during a live broadcast. This experience is what got Jimmie interested in media, which led to studying journalism and mass media at UW-Eau Claire, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Superior. Jimmie now lives in western Wisconsin, forever celebrating the Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA title in 2021.
