Elissa Borden

Elissa Borden joined WCAX in March of 2020, and works as a feature reporter for our 4 PM broadcast. You may also see her 'Made in Vermont' stories on Monday nights at 6 PM. Elissa has worn many hats at WCAX, starting as a producer, before moving to the anchor desk, and now out to the field as a reporter.

Elissa's broadcast career began at WLUC TV6 and FOX UP, in Marquette, Michigan. This Massachusetts native attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and graduated in 2019 with B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Natural Resource Conservation.

In her free time, you can catch Elissa at the airport pursuing her pilot's license, rock climbing, or skiing on Vermont's incredible mountains. She loves sandwiches, her cat named Ruth, and creme brulee. She's proud to call Vermont her home, and loves meeting people in our communities.
