Courtney Spinelli

Investigative Reporter

Courtney was born and raised in a suburb just north of Boston. She is a graduate of Worcester State University, where she majored in Communication and was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Association's honor society. In addition to her time at WSU, Courtney also attended Marist College for a semester while interning in New York City.

Beginning her career at Boston 25 News, Courtney spent over two years as an assignment editor. During her time in Boston, she earned an Emmy nomination for her contribution to an investigative report that spanned over the course of months and uncovered major issues in the City of Boston's EMS division. Courtney spent her time in Boston covering major local and national breaking news stories, learning from her mentors in the newsroom and the field, and preparing for a transition to an on-air reporting role.

Courtney is thrilled to be on the KWQC-TV6 News team and be able to call the Quad Cities her new home! She has been with the station since April 2019.
