Amber Alert canceled after 1-year-old Texas boy found

(Gray News) - An Amber Alert issued for a 1-year-old boy from Texas has been canceled after the child was found, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Amir De La Luz, 1, was found early Thursday in Juarez, Mexico, KDBC reports. Authorities are working to reunite him with his mother.

Police were looking for 20-year-old Ariel De La Luz, the boy’s biological father, in connection with the abduction. Police say he was arrested in Juarez, according to KDBC.
