Multiple animals killed in Central City barn fire

CENTRAL CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Five horses and some chickens were killed in a barn fire in Central City on Monday.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office said multiple area fire crews responded just after midnight to the fire in the 5000 block of Red School Road.
The barn is a total loss. The fire remains under investigation.
