18-year-old victim of shooting incident in Cedar Rapids pronounced dead
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - An 18-year-old woman was pronounced dead following a December 22 shooting incident at 2110 Westdale Drive SW.
Officials responded to the reports of the shooting at around 3:25 p.m. that day.
At the time, officials reported the victim, Marisa Doolin, had sustained life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital shortly after the incident, but was pronounced legally dead on December 26, 2020.
There have been no arrests in this case. An active investigation remains ongoing.
