Day shelters, electricity available at locations across Linn County

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Linn County officials have identified several locations in some Linn County communities that are available for public use during the day, including the ability to charge essential medical equipment.
The shelters are located at the following places:
- Center Point: Anderson Public Library/Center Point Community Room, located at 720 Main Street. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Hiawatha: City of Hiawatha Community Center, located at 101 Emmons Street. Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Palo: City of Palo Community Center, located at 2800 Hollenbeck Road. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Robins: City of Robins Community Center, located at 265 S. Second Street. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Springville: City of Springville City Hall, located at 304 Broadway Street. Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Coggon: Coggon Old Fire Station, located at 112 Second Street South. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
