Cedar Falls headed to state for the first time since 1989

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Last month, Cedar Falls had to suspend its season after a positive COVID-19 test in the program. On Wednesday, the Tigers punched their ticket to the state tournament for the first time since 1989.

Cedar Falls defeated Cedar Rapids Kennedy 7-4 in the Class 4 - Substate 3 final.
