Cedar Rapids police release the name of the victim in Sunday shooting
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Officials have released the name of the victim who was shot and killed early in the morning on July 12.
Police said they found Keyshawn Vondale Allers, 19, of Palo, with multiple gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Curtis Street SW in Cedar Rapids.
First responders administered emergency medical care at the scene, but Allers was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement officials said there is still an active homicide investigation ongoing.
