CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The past couple of weeks in Cedar Rapids have felt just like summer, and although we have been feeling warm, we’ve only hit 90 degrees 3 times this year. We took a look back on how this compared to the last 5 years.

In 2019, up until July 11th, we had four 90 degree days, so pretty similar to this year. 2018 was the highest year for 90 degree days up until July 11th with 14 days. We had eight 90 degree days in Cedar Rapids in 2017 and five 90 degree days in 2016. The lowest seen in the past 5 years was only one 90 degree day in 2015.
