After our first dog was put down, a rottie that wieghed 110 lbs, we decided to down size. We chose a "free" dog, 8 weeks old-chocolate lab/chesapeake from our neighbors. At about 3 1/2 months the developed parvo and spent 5 days at the vet and lost a lot of wieght. Then we decided to have him fixed, therefore, the vet said he probably would be a 70-80 lb dog. 5 years later and now a loyal friend we call ours--he wieghs 138 lbs and truly lives up to his name--HAAS!!!
